My feet are marginally on the wide side, and the straps on the sandals are very short. I can only just make the two halves of the velcro reach each other sufficiently. For a person like myself, the design of the sandal would benefit if you could extend the stationary part half of the velcro by perhaps 1 or 2 cm (no more!) towards the centre-line of the sandal, to make putting the sandal on a bit easier, and to make the fitting more secure. I wonder how many peoplle decided not to buy this type of sandal because of this issue and the fear that the straps might not hold. I nearly did this, but I am glad I didn't.
